Services

Marketing services for Mississauga businesses, and how to pick the right one first

Mississauga looks like one big suburb from the highway, but it behaves like several different markets stitched together. A lakeshore bungalow in Lorne Park, a tower suite near Square One, a townhouse in Churchill Meadows and a warehouse off Airport Road all need trades, and each one is found, sold and served differently. Mississauga.Marketing helps service businesses pick the parts of that map they can win, and then market to them properly.

Why Mississauga needs its own plan

A city of 717,961 people (the 2021 Census count) is too big to treat as one service area, and too varied to market with one message. Three things shape almost every plan we write here:

  • The housing mix is split. Of roughly 244,600 occupied homes in that census, 37.1% were single-detached, and another quarter were semis or row houses. Yet 27.3% sat in apartment buildings of five or more storeys. A furnace or drain company selling to a detached-house owner and one selling to a condo suite owner need different pages, different ads and different proof.
  • Distance decides who appears in the map. Google lists relevance, distance and prominence as the three main local ranking factors. A shop in Malton will rarely show in the map pack for a searcher in Clarkson, however good its reviews are, so the plan has to start from where your trucks are parked.
  • The city has a large business economy, not just homes. Corporate centres, business parks and employment areas stretch from the airport lands to Sheridan Park and Meadowvale. For many trades, a single facility manager is worth more than fifty homeowners.

That is why our first conversation is about geography and buyer type, and only then about channels. The full district-by-district picture is on our Mississauga areas page.

What we do for you, and what we leave to you

Our job is the marketing and the business thinking behind it: search visibility, ads, websites, reviews and the advice that goes with them. Your job is the trade. We are not a contractor, we never dispatch crews, and we don't touch tools, permits or equipment.

The five services, each explained on its own page from the services hub:

  1. Ward-level local SEO and Google Business Profile, for the wards you can reach in a working day.
  2. Google Ads and Local Services Ads, with a cost-per-lead ceiling agreed in writing.
  3. Main-street and BIA marketing for shops and studios in the city's five business improvement areas.
  4. Commercial and industrial service marketing for work inside the corporate centres and employment areas.
  5. Websites built to turn visits into calls, with local proof and one clear next step.

A two-minute sum to do before you hire anyone

Every marketing decision gets easier once you know what a lead is worth to you. Here is the arithmetic, with numbers you can swap for your own:

Your number Example
Average invoice $1,200
Gross margin on a job 45%
Gross profit per job $540
Quotes won out of every 10 leads 4
Profit you earn per lead $216

If each enquiry produces about $216 of gross profit on average, you should not pay much more than $70 to $100 for it, or the marketing eats the margin before overheads. A company with a $6,000 average job and the same win rate can afford a far higher figure. Owners who skip this sum tend to judge marketing on gut feel; owners who do it can see within a month whether a channel is earning its keep. Our pricing page shows how the monthly fee fits into the same calculation.

Proof: results from our HVAC work

Our group's case studies come from heating and cooling companies, and we label them that way. They still show the method we bring to Mississauga trades and local businesses:

  • CombiBoiler.ca holds 500+ page-1 rankings for combi-boiler keywords, brings in 300+ monthly leads, and has returned 300% ROI.
  • Roma Heating & Cooling grew organic traffic by 400% in 12 months.
  • BCWide.ca tripled its leads in 90 days.

What transfers is the sequence: choose a tight set of searches, build pages that answer them better than anyone nearby, measure every call, and stop spending where the numbers don't hold. More detail sits on our results page.

Who is behind this site

Mississauga.Marketing is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. The group is Canadian, with its head office in Vancouver, BC, and serves clients across the country. It is led by Ali Sedighi, MBA in Technology Management, who has been building and marketing service businesses online since 2007 and has more than 150 live HVAC websites to his name. The day-to-day trades programs run through Trades.Agency, our parent brand for trades marketing.

Being based on the West Coast matters less than it sounds. The work happens in search results, ad accounts and your website, and every recommendation is checked against what a searcher in your Mississauga wards actually sees. You can read more about how we work.

Where to start

If you are not sure what you need, start with the sum above and a list of your last few dozen jobs. Then get in touch by call, text or email and tell us your trade, your base and the wards you want more work in. If marketing is not the right next step for your business, we will say so.

How it works

  1. Bring us your job map

Your last 40 or 50 jobs by postal code, your average invoice and how many quotes you win. Plotted on a Mississauga map, those numbers show which wards already pay you and which ones you are only hoping for.

  2. Agree on a plan and a cost

We pick the searches, wards and buyer types worth chasing, write down the monthly fee and the ad budget, and set a cost-per-lead ceiling before a dollar is spent.

  3. Speak to a real strategist

No intake script and no junior rep handing you off. Call, text or email; you'll talk to a senior strategist.

Frequently asked questions

What is Mississauga.Marketing?

It is a Canadian marketing and business consulting service for trades and local businesses in Mississauga. It belongs to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, which is headquartered in Vancouver, BC, and it is led by Ali Sedighi, MBA.

Do you do any of the trade work yourselves?

No. We are not a contractor and we don't install, repair, clean or service anything. We plan and run the marketing that brings you work, and we advise owners on pricing, positioning and where to grow.

Do you sell leads to several companies at once?

No. The enquiries that come from your website, profile and ads are yours alone. We are paid a monthly fee for the marketing, not a fee per lead, so there is no reason to share your calls with a competitor.

Which parts of Mississauga do you cover?

All of it: every ward from Ward 1 on the lakeshore to Ward 11 in Streetsville and Meadowvale Village, plus the employment areas around the airport and the corporate centres. We also plan for crews that cross into Etobicoke, Brampton, Oakville or Milton.

What does it cost?

Trades.Agency plans start at $1,999 a month on month-to-month terms, or $1,499 a month billed annually, with 13% Ontario HST added. Ad spend is separate and is paid to the ad platform. Eligible trades businesses can have a free 30-minute first consultation.

Are your case studies from Mississauga trades?

They are results from our HVAC work, because that is where the group's portfolio of 150+ live HVAC websites was built. We show them as proof of the method, not as plumbing, electrical or retail results.
